We must be on the same thought train. Earlier I updated my Fboo status with this: ‘Technically speaking: isn’t …every day …earth day?’

“Those who dwell among the beauties and mysteries of the earth are never alone or weary of life.” -Rachel Carson
I really like this quote, I love the earth and I love how it is still full of things unknown to us

Roxanne ~ It’s one of my favorites, too. I was living in San Francisco and wanted to give myself a test (I do that often…), and so I said to myself, if I can shoot a cala lily and NOT have it look cliche, then…I’m good. :) And this is it!

I find it very sad that my first thought upon reading your quote was Winnebago = motor home.

Beautiful photo – so peaceful and yet foreboding in some way – maybe just how my mind is feeling tonight! I really enjoy your photography and look forward to each one.

Back again to look *L*…You succeeded…I’m wondering, is it film?
April 25th, 2010 @ 12:24 pm
yep, film.
This is a scan but the silver print is better. You just want to wear it as a cloak.
