Ok, I’m jealous. I don’t even take a bath (I’m a shower gal), but I could get used to that. Is that essential oil I see on the edge of the tub? What scent, if I may be so nosy?

Essential oil from Mountain Rose Herbs ~ YES! I have many ~ that particular one was Eucalyptus.
In the dark of night ~ that was how I christened this tub!
It’s filled with hot water from my shower thanks to a very long hose! Hot water and a breeze or cool air above the waterline is a divine combo.
Ha! I would have never thought of putting a bathtub outside. But i guess if you’re in the middle of nowhere, who cares!?

if you stuff a little insulation in around the outside of the tub, the water will stay warm longer. or you could raise it a bit so you could tuck a few hot coals from your woodstove under it at times…

Very lucky! I got to sit in an old cast iron tub a couple of days ago in the historic Occidental Hotel in Buffalo. Is that lavender? The outdoor showers you describe in your book must be nice too.

This makes me wish, just for a minute, I didn’t live in the city.
I have euce in my shower right now, i also blend yang lang and lemon for a heavenly soak…mint on a daily basis! first on my list before outdoor japanese soaking tub( thats the one that comes up to your neck and you stand in it) is a sauna….at least 20 paces from the back door as nothing beats frigid air on a sweltering body! Enjoy shreve, looks like a great way to get vit. D and clean!
DUDE. There’s one of those at my barn. I don’t think I possess the will to clean it and transport it to my house… so I’ll live vicariously through yours. Awesome!
