Boy, girl, boy, girl
front, back, front, back
Looks like Daisy’s wearing a matador’s hat (shhh… don’t tell her what matadors do…)
Is that gorgeous little redhead Fiona?

You have the most beautiful cows. And you take the most wonderful photos of them.

ha haaa daisy likes dirt too. these look like normal cows but when you are not looking they are probably drinking and smoking ciggies and laughing at each others lil party hats.

Mama looks content but alert. One ear on Frisco and one on Fiona. At least thats the way it appears to me.
The cows version of a mother with eyes on the back of her head.

Last night I reread The True Gift by Patricia MacLachlan. If you don’t have this book, I highly recommend it. Daisy reminds me of White Cow. I am so happy she has friends to keep her from getting lonely all year long.

Perfect day.
Is that your first snow?

Whose the little black calf with the white face? Fiona still has such a gorgeous color!

Lovely photo. Unfortunately, we can’t have pet cows in Chicago.

What I love about this photo: All the black cows appear to be facing one direction and Daisy (white) and Fiona (red) are facing the opposite direction. There is something sweetly humorous about this, I don’t know why.
I also love how they are all so close together. Relaxed coziness. Makes you want to scoop them into a big bear hug.

Wow, the little Fionster is looking redder than ever. She looks downright auburn!
