Cool pictures.

Was firefighter Berryman there to pick up his last basket of berries?? I liked the juxtaposition of the two pictures.

what cool stuff do you do with the rose hips? I saved a bunch of them one year and then just sat there looking at them.

C ~ tea! the body loves it. or you can make rose hip soup or rose hip jelly ~ swedish traditions, apparently rather difficult, but they sound amazing…. here’s more info: http://www.kstrom.net/isk/food/wildrose.html

Love the berry pictures: gorgeous colors! Here in California, I live for blackberry season; picking them along the creeks with my nephew while minnows nibble at our sandaled toes…

Shreve,
and now for a comment unrelated to your unrelated photos…
Does your BO Balm recipe leave any residue on clothing? If it does, does it wash out easily? I read through the comments, but didn’t find any Q&A for that question. Also, did you ever find out where to buy the UNrefinded shea butter? I also dislike the texture of the refined, but am running out of the unrefined (got it as a gift.)
Thank you~have a great day!

Enjoyed your ‘photo poems’.

Those berries are making me long for summer! :)

B ~ I haven’t noticed any residue issues; if there is any transfer, it should wash out just fine - I’ve never found anything to complain about in that respect! Been looking for AGES for unrefined shea butter, cannot find it anywhere!! aargh.

Thanks for the reply.
If I ever find any, I’ll let you know…

Great pics. The landscapes and the fruit from the land. Oh and the firemen are nice too. :)

thanks for the lead on rose hips! I’ll be trying those suggestions next fall as I already composted last year’s prunings.

Love the pics Shreve. The shot of the red tea is intriguing. Was it intentionally shot out of focus or was it the steam from the tea?…. hmmm I like it as an abstract and the color is just great.
That mountain looks like it would make for a great walk.

You spoil us. Thank you!

How interesting, I was just thinking yesterday that I should sort through my pictures and put my favorites on my blog. They would all be unrelated as well. Must be the January blahhs encouraging these ideas.
Loved the ??? shot of Charlie. He’s a riot.

T ~ it’s the steam!

The BO balm with coconut oil totally works! I call it extra strength. Next batch needs a tad more cocoa butter, is a little soft. I bought my supplies at iherb.com this time. Great prices!

awesome!

Love the drop shot!
Just curious what kind of purple berry is in the basket. Is it a huckleberry? The leaf looks different than the Calif huckleberry.

Gorgeous shots. The Hibiscus tea is my favorite… to drink and your photo of.
