Oh, I join you in the tortured tush part as I drove 7 hours on Sunday for a job interview and around Boston and now I will soon be heading back the hours and miles in my faithful Toyota steed.

There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a (wo)man. ~Winston Churchill

I have said it before and I’m saying it again, I LOVE Rangers ears! Horses ears are so great. And that blonde/red devil may care mane, he is a real charmer I bet.

I had the most wonderful massage today. Wish you could do the same.

I’d take that tired tush over being cooped up @ work pretending to b nice to people. Give me space w/o a person in site

A tired tush on a horse is oh so much better than a tired tush in a car :) Lovely picture as always!

We are sisters in stiffness. And though I would have preferred this aching back was caused by a horse ride, mine was caused by a mountain bike. However, I did a couple small jumps that felt just like a horse, and it made me miss my equestrian days.
Epsom salt bath for me tonight, et tu? warmly, JM

Nice! Ranger just blends right in…and love the “bovine fence.” :)

I can’t think of a better way to get a tired tush than horseback riding. Then again I haven’t had the opportunity to ride in years and years. The nostalgia is surely making it more romantic than it was :P

omgosh, me thinks you are all underselling the pain of being saddle sore. if you are not used to it and you ride a long day, it is very painful. one of the marks of a good horse is how well they trot, lope and even walk.

ranger is a great name for a horse. omgosh is that cattle out there? nice herd all stretched out.

if you think that riding a long day on a motorcycle sounds like a lot of fun? lol, it isn’t.

I use a sheepskin saddle cover for comfort on long rides. Makes a big difference.

I’m jealous and green with envy! I did have a 30 minute horse riding lesson last night… not quite the same, but I’ll take it nonetheless.

I too have a sheep skin cover for my saddle, makes long rides less tush killers.

Love Rangers ears, they’re almost pony like..
