Back in the day I read a series of books by Roger Zelazny, the Amber series. The first books were about Corwin, and yes he had a half-sister Fiona. I named my son for Fiona’s brother Bleys and wanted to name my daughter Deidrie her after another half sister who had black hair. Bleys was a red top, so not appropriate however his half sister Floramil had a brother Gerrard who was as was Corwin Hey 9 Princes in Amber is a great book, good names however the name Brand would be inappropriate for a cow(and he was evil to boot) hit the library and find a good name and oh Corwin’s son was named Merlin.

I meant to say Corwin and Gerrard had black hair, I cannot sex a calf from a photo, nor name them. Just a idea.

How sweet. Does Fiona and Sis still hang out together with the young-ins?

C ~ yes, this was a rare moment of Fiona off on her own. Fiona and Sis and a few other cows, right at this moment, look as if they’re having cocktails while their calves are all frolicking together in the setting sunlight…..
