And the winner is….

☆ April 22, 2013

I could watch this all day long. Sometimes, I don’t even watch the sea lions – I just gaze at the sunlight glinting off the water. After running around in a tank top yesterday for a few blissful midday hours, I woke this morning to a blizzard, several inches of new snow, zero visibility. What I’d give to get flipped off a dock by a sea lion.

THANKYOU to everyone who left a link, gif, video, or joke! The comment section turned out to be a wonderful place to return to last week, over and over again, for so, so, so many laughs.

In other news, elk antler chew toys are back in the Shop.

Also, CISPA passed the House last week.  If you’re unfamiliar with CISPA, THIS is a good starting place. If you’d like to contact your senators, phone numbers and talking tips can be found HERE and HERE.

I already won by getting to view all the entries!! Hope you make this an annual event when we are all suffering from a lack of spring.

every inch of my being tells me that the seal tipped the dock on purpose. He just seemed to put so much weight on his “forearms” as it tipped. I love it!

Got on the site you recommended but still don’t know what CISPA means. I may be Canadian but like to know what is going on everywhere.

When we lived in Monterey for half a year, a million years ago, I used to go down to Fisherman’s Wharf on a daily basis just to sit and watch the sea lions. I could hear them at night sometimes at our apartment if the wind was blowing right…and I still miss being able to see them.

Sorry your sun turned to snow….we have had a fantastic spring here but I am worried that if we don’t have a good month of rain this spring, we will hit a big drought this summer. As much as I love the sunshine right now, I know it will be bad later if those clouds don’t produce soon.

Yeah we got caught in that on our drive from Michigan to Utah. Nearly got rear-ended by a semi outside of Laramie. >_<

The weather between Cheyenne and Rawlins was not kind both times actually. lol!

It is beautiful country…when it isn't trying to kill you. ;)

    Love the gif! :D

Here is a new one for you, courtesy of Huffington Post. Part of new Athenos Feta Cheese commercial.

Thought of the farmily the minute I saw it, even though you don’t have a goat or a YiaYia.

Oh, and the moral of the commercial? Milk comes for teat, not from box.
