Love that area. In SUMMER. Not so much with a foot of snow. LOL
May 1st, 2013 @ 9:37 am
We had snow along Lake Erie a little over a week ago, but nothing like what you’ve got there. Unbelievable!
May 1st, 2013 @ 9:38 am
Wow! We are expecting 86 in So Cal today..I would LOVE some snow…

SNOW SNOW GO AWAY, DO NOT COME AGAIN – for a really really long time. Shreve needs some SUN and WARMTH!!!!!!!!
North Texas is going to be down in the 30’s again tonight…. ugh, I’m so ready for SPRING.

I agree with PATR being here in the Dallas area. I’m in Capri’s, flip flops and short sleeves at work right now. I’ll need to dig from the jeans pile, socks and shoes tomorrow…..UGH, I am so done with this see-saw weather!! This is the craziest year for weather I have ever seen. And I hate what it does to the beautiful roses and flowers that are blooming now. Mother Nature sure is cranky this year. LOL
May 1st, 2013 @ 12:43 pm
We woke to snow on this May 1st in the Denver metro area. My area is supposed to get between 6 and 12 inches. The grass is very green, but the trees are too scared to leaf out this year!

Only 99 here today, down from 101. I am so ready for a southern Arizona winter. I think my blood has thinned out too much for the white stuff.
May 1st, 2013 @ 3:47 pm
You once made a comment about Wyoming and young gods having temper tantrums. Today is one of the many days that remind me of that perspective.
May 1st, 2013 @ 5:47 pm
It’s like April Fools Day, only on May 1st instead.
May 1st, 2013 @ 7:17 pm
Same scene over here on the other side of the state, where we’re frantically shushing anyone who dares complain for fear of them scaring away all the lovely water. Even so, I’d be a little happier to see warm, gentle rain at this point…
May 1st, 2013 @ 7:44 pm
Ah, the life of a mountain woman. Believe it or not, we even get that here in AZ!
Such a sweet photo.
May 1st, 2013 @ 8:27 pm

May 2nd, 2013 @ 12:24 pm

May 2nd, 2013 @ 12:44 pm
This morning on the news it said parts of wyoming were to get 20inches of snow today. I felt bad for all those baby calfs of yours. Happy May day…
May 3rd, 2013 @ 2:30 am
it’s springtime in the mountains of arizona i planted a small grove of aspen trees last week and they are whipping around in the breeze but stand up very straight when the wind dies down. and they’re sprouting tons of shimmering leaves. cool but not as cool as wy!
tiger’s food has been moved to a skunk friendly location, lol S~. a murder of crows are still hanging out, one of them sits nearby in a pine tree and makes the weirdest noises. there are lots of lil lizards scurrying around they like the warm weather. and yesterday a moth the size of a volkswagen was buzzing around some flowers. oh and.. had a cow sighting today some black angus out on the open range. yay for cows !

Too bad you are so far away and I am working.
I love to mud and tape drywall. I’m quite good at it.

Totally feeling for you, especially when we are 20 degrees over our normal average for this time of year and I am in shorts and barefoot with the windows open. Sad thing is, if we don’t get some rain, we could be in trouble this summer so while I love this weather, we really need some clouds and a few downpours.
