That reminds me of the ice jams when the river breaks up, scary sometimes when it gets loud. We actually had a frost quake here last week and even though it was on the other side of the city we heard it here. There’s so much moisture in the ground that when it freezes and gets compressed it suddenly explodes. Made a crack in the ground a foot deep and 75 feet long. Mother Nature is very interesting !!

March is my least favorite month and the combination melting snow turned to ice then melting again resulting in mud is a big part of it. Also, everything seems so dirty from the winter. Salty slush that melted in the garage now leaves dirty white stains. Where’s my powerwasher!!?
