Don’t know how much you are in to children’s picture books (I’m an elementary librarian and collect them) but every time I see your little cluckers I think of Jan Brett’s most recent retelling of Cinderella. “Cinders”. It’s all told with chickens. Seeing your chickies with the poofy hairdos reminds me of this book every time. As with all things Jan Brett the illustrations are gorgeous. Personally, I would love to have a chicken coop just like the one in the book.
