A photo with an impact. Stunner!

What a golden flaxen babe!
I know, this weather we’re having! Did you saddle him up and ride in a tank top?!
What’s this one’s name. I’ve forgotten.
Just beautiful, Shreve.

Almost looks like our horses, Lady and Justin, who are both chestnuts (except Justin has mane issues, it never grows and certainly never flows!)
Beautiful, Shreve…thank you!

Love the bangs-over-the-eye look: lazy and beautiful. Thanks to photographer and model for sharing.
February 10th, 2015 @ 1:13 pm
So handsome!
February 10th, 2015 @ 3:19 pm
I love the Gene Autry/Roy Rogers vintage postcard flare! (And yes also the surfer dude too)
February 10th, 2015 @ 3:24 pm
Ranger is such a blond dude…. If he were a man (not a horse) he would be a surfer dude in So. Cal…..
February 10th, 2015 @ 3:25 pm
I posted before reading the other comments – there is an consensus about surfer dude…
February 10th, 2015 @ 4:39 pm
He seems to be saying “Mom, I think the surfs up. Can you take me to the beach?”
February 10th, 2015 @ 6:41 pm
What an absolutely beautiful horse and a wonderful photo!
February 10th, 2015 @ 10:52 pm
Have you thought about another Farmily calendar! He could be on the front cover!
February 11th, 2015 @ 5:46 am
Shreve, I know a lot about charlie of course and your cows and cats and Chloe but not so much about Ranger. What is his story? Was he born on the property?
February 11th, 2015 @ 7:27 am
Surfer dude for sure! I love the hay remnant hanging out of his mouth. Any idea how many hands he is?
February 11th, 2015 @ 10:12 am
I’d like the number of his stylist, please!
That candle points right to his beautiful eyes and rakish bangs. He’s magnificent and adorable all at the same time. Do you still ride him into town to pick up the mail?
February 11th, 2015 @ 10:13 am
So handsome! Anyway to get a print of this? Thanks.
February 11th, 2015 @ 10:56 am
Reminds me of a title of a book and poem by Alice Walker,
“Horses make a landscape more beautiful”.
Ranger makes it true. Will have to find it on my shelf and read the poem again.
February 11th, 2015 @ 1:45 pm
Ranger, I see that candle on your face.
February 11th, 2015 @ 4:31 pm
Ahhh, Ranger! Surfer dude, indeed. Thanks so much, Shreve, for the uplifting warmth of soul that only horses can provide. We’re due for bitter and brutal cold for the rest of this week and over the weekend. My soul was cringing. Now that Ranger has spread his warmth, I feel sooo much better. Please give him a special thank-you-hug from me.
February 11th, 2015 @ 7:28 pm
I just love the blond hair hanging so casually in his eyes! What a calm looking horse.
February 11th, 2015 @ 8:50 pm
Ranger even poses like a model.
Squint your eyes and picture him in skateboard shorts.
Better be careful or Calvin Klein will sign him.
February 13th, 2015 @ 9:24 pm
What a beautiful, handsome horse! And his coloring fits right into the beautiful scenery.
February 15th, 2015 @ 11:02 am
Oh how we love to peek into your country life! Surfer dooood— hee!
February 16th, 2015 @ 12:22 pm
I was just thinking about Ranger. Both my guy’s are the same, chestnut, flaxen mane and tails.
