I love the baby’s stance in the first photo. That’s a total “what the hell just happened” pose.

Amazing contrasts, both of color and new life against such a stark background. I can almost imagine this scene happening on a Terraformed Mars…

The rebirth of life in the spring! I love these photos of the mother and baby bonding—so beautiful. My baby great nephew was also born on the first day of spring this year!
March 25th, 2015 @ 9:38 am
How sweet. Momma is still cleaning the babe, you must have been very close when this was happening. What a joy. Nature is wonderful.

That mama is hugging her baby!

Going through that kind of a scare (benign/not benign) is a bit of an eye-opener isn’t it? And then the surgery as well, yes? How vulnerable one is and dependent on those around us and those “helpers” can really be like angels! So happy for you that all turned out well.
On a very different note: I’ve wondered, have you ever thought of getting a goat?? It occurred to me while reading the book, “Make the bread Buy the butter”.
March 27th, 2015 @ 3:52 pm
These pictures just make me smile. What a wonderful “welcome home!” for you after your travails in the medical system.
March 28th, 2015 @ 8:46 pm
WElcome to the world, baby!

Mom has a maid’s room on the 4th floor of our building here in Paris. What do i see on the walls? Paintings from our house in DC and gorgeous framed color photos of French farmers walking their cows on country roads. AND I THOUGHT OF YOU AND HOW MUCH I NOW LOVE COWS!!
April 3rd, 2015 @ 11:06 am
I was born on the first day of spring too! :->
