How can anyone look at this gorgeous photo and not resolve to do anything in their power to make a positive difference for our environment–the only one we will ever have.

Thanks for noticing this beautiful morning and sharing with others.

Ok wow, this should be one of your print options. What a stunning photo. Let us know if you think this would make a good print. And your photos of Charlie continue to capture his essence. Each day I look forward to seeing your work – the images are satisfying to the soul. And they’re like eye candy. Hope you’ve had a chance to rest after all the efforts in shipping the books! Our book is a very special treasure. Thank you for all you do and for sharing snippets of your life with us. Happy New Year!

So beautiful… surreal. Captivating that turquoise and aubergine can be coaxed out of the darkness of pre-dawn.

Regarding sleep deprivation tweet: I sooo get it. You’re right; it’s bad enough to think those things, but sleep deprivation makes us believe them, and we must drop everything immediately and sleep, hehe. Went down that path a week ago, and a dear friend texted: “LOL- you have enough to think about without inventing things!!!” It helped.

Poor Daisy. Just read about her loss.

Do you save the colostrum in case another calf needs it?

Poor thing, but I’m glad she’s all right.

Is this a sign she is reaching the end of her breeding span and moooooving to retirement?

    M ~
    1) usually I save her extra colostrom but I’m milking and dumping since she was given medication by the vet (which goes into her milk)

    2) no, she is still young.
