Miss Mara
☆ February 12, 2019
I have been trying to get good pictures of Mara for a year now.
When she sees me, she runs to me ~ and she is as fast as an antelope!
I shoot a few quick frames as she approaches on the trot, but they always end up blurry.
Yesterday, a fence happened to be between us, halting her advance.
And I finally got some pictures of her adorable face.

She’s so pretty.
I’m glad you’re back. I missed your voice.
Hey guess what… I moved to Seattle last Nov so I won’t see you on Meat Runs in Long Beach/Torrance anymore. I hope you include Seattle in future deliveries.

She is so beautiful!
I am a fiber artist and I would like to ask your permission to use your picture for an art quilt. I don’t know when I would get to it….it may be months, but I would put her on my to do projects. Of course I would give you credit for the use of the picture of Miss Mara. Ann

P ~ Princess Mara is perfectly appropriate, considering her mother is our Queen!
T ~ Frisco kept his baby face, even as he grew into a giant. I feel like Mara might, too.
S ~ I often do! Keep an eye on the emails this spring :)
A ~ Absolutely! Would love to see a photo of your finished work, whenever that may be…

I never realized just how beautiful cows’ faces can be until I met Daisy on your blog. And now her offspring and fellow Farmily members share her beauty! Thank you, Shreve, for opening my eyes to the lovely creatures living in our midst — I’ll never dismiss them as just big placid cud-chewers again!
