That’s breathtaking, Shreve. I’ll second the suggestion to offer it as a print in your shop.

I love looking at a photo and thinking it’s a painting or looking at painting and thinking it’s a photo. They are always unbelievably beautiful works of art that force you to look just a little bit closer. Simply beautiful!

Big Sky… gorgeous. Thanks for sharing, Shreve.

Makes me think of the ending of Stuart Little (the book), when Stuart tells a line repairman he’s going north. The repairman says, “A person who’s heading north is not making any mistake, in my opinion.”

….what is it about mountains!!?! I love the serene beauty of lakes and forests of my native Finland but – mountains, they just take your breath away. They might scare you, they might challenge you, but they never cease to amaze you. They usually make you stop and think, “the top of the world”-feeling might empower you, but then the feeling of ‘smallness’ takes over, you feel humbled. Some say, they feel as being “closer to God” (Maria von Trapp)
P.S. Thanks, Shreve, for this and for all of your amazing photos!
