I so needed that.

You posted this right after I found out a friend of mine with breast cancer had just passed away. These words are very inspirational and much needed. Thanks again, and I’ll think of them every time I wear this necklace!

Just finished “The Daily Coyote” for the 2nd time..had nothing much better to do (NOI)and decided to peruse and prowl around the websites for pics of Charlie..
Not sure if this is the right place to say..but love the book..love the world it creates and it sooooo (along with this post) appeals to the tomboy/loner/animal lover (count 4 horses, 4 dogs, 3 cats, and rescued finches) part of myself..

Hi Shreve!!
I just finished your book and this is my first, but certainly not my last, trip to your site! Thank you for your book and for bringing Charlie (and of course Eli) into my life. Thank you for being so honest about yourself, it is refreshing and I think it will help me to better understand how to do that within myself, too. It takes a lot of strength, Alpha Dog strength :) I feel like you and your family are good friends. Give Charlie a good belly rub for me! And this picture is lovely.

I still have this, and the earrings after all these years; wear it on occasion when I’m needing the strength to show my “brass”.
