does it get any cuter?
☆ June 19, 2011
Going through old folders, I found this picture.
Even though I posted it somewhere, sometime
on the Daily Coyote
I’m cross-posting it here.
{she’s not mine}
THE CUTENESS.
It mustn’t be ignored.

me neither
June 19th, 2011 @ 3:25 pm
Click on it and it will take you to Flickr, where you can see it :)
Now you need to have sheep, S. Just so you can have lambs and your own wool.
June 19th, 2011 @ 3:25 pm
Ack! Nobody can see it directly here. There’s a note from Flicker saying “this photo is currently unavailable” BUT if you click directly on that note it will take you to the picture. I remember the picture & yes, it is outstandingly cute!
June 19th, 2011 @ 3:36 pm
yes, i remember that picture too. and i remember thinking that there must have been some wise and experienced sheep people around to keep you from taking her home.
June 19th, 2011 @ 4:22 pm
It’s clear and adorable here! In serious contention for cutest pic of all time.
June 19th, 2011 @ 4:57 pm
well worth the wait to be able to view this again. thank you!!
This is another picture that you should offer for sale, Shreve. I would buy it , for sure. would make a great companion piece to Daisy and Fiona’s.
June 19th, 2011 @ 5:16 pm

June 19th, 2011 @ 5:40 pm
Adorable! Didn’t the Cute Overload site pick up on your baby lamb photos, maybe last year or something like that?
June 19th, 2011 @ 5:44 pm
OK, fixed! Flickr glitch!

Goodness! That was worth the wait!
June 19th, 2011 @ 7:08 pm
I’ve joined a sheep share to get yarn from a small farm/flock. Looks just like one of hers! nothing cuter than a little sheep, unless it’s those cute cows/bulls you have!
Showing off Daisy and Fiona to a cow lover at work :)
June 19th, 2011 @ 7:38 pm
hhhmmm? I had no problem seeing this cutest lamb aaaaaavvvvvrrrrrrrr! toots-sweets! thanks for reposting it!
June 19th, 2011 @ 8:20 pm
It definitely does not get any cuter than that! There is no stuffed toy made than can come close to rivaling the cuteness of the real thing.
That would be the perfect picture for a child’s room. You should definitely sell prints! Just sayin’ …
June 19th, 2011 @ 9:22 pm
Cute does not even begin to cover it. Way better than those cards they make with animals with the big, googly, cute eyes. :)
June 19th, 2011 @ 9:40 pm
Oh my goodness, I feel like an idiot. It IS your lamb, not just some random cute photo. *smacks forehead* derrr…
June 19th, 2011 @ 9:54 pm
You should know that after you posted this photo a few years back, I gave up eating lamb…too cute!
June 20th, 2011 @ 12:04 am
Instantly saved it to desktop for wallpaper!
June 20th, 2011 @ 5:04 am
Nope, this is maximum possible cuteness.

Shreve, how did you avoid a kidnapping (literally) and have to go on the *lamb* with this gorgeous baby? (Boo-hiss – sorry, couldn’t resist.)
Perfect dose of Vitamin Happy. Yum.
Leisel (#30) – Ditto!
My daughter’s name means “God’s precious little lamb” so she’s gettin’ this in her email today.
I remember the first post of this; my eyes were glued to the screen… same thing now. Plus, with this second pass, it’s now burned into my brain, at the ready for a wee-baa vacation from stress and scary stuff.
June 20th, 2011 @ 9:06 am
OMG.
The cutest lamb ever!!! Looks almost like a stuffed animal I can hug and tell my troubles to.
You made my day again Shreve.
Moving from my home of 23 years to an apartment. Heartbreaking. Bad economy, single mom,son in college.
Going to your site everyday, sometimes many times a day, keeps me smiling and sane.
Tahnks, lovely!

Following the blog from Juniper Moon Farm, with many like pictures has cured me of eating lamb. Your Daisy and her babes have done the same for veal and beef.
Sweet photo.

“Little Lamb, who made thee?
Dost thou know who made thee,
Gave thee life, and bade thee feed
By the stream and o’er the mead;
Gave thee clothing of delight,
Softest clothing, wooly, bright;
Gave thee such a tender voice,
Making all the vales rejoice?
Little lamb, who made thee?
Dost thou know who made thee?”
— William Blake
June 20th, 2011 @ 1:03 pm
I want to hug it and squeeze it and name it George! I die from the adorableness!
June 20th, 2011 @ 1:53 pm
Awww, cute!
But actually, I like my lambs to be black with white markings. They’re way cuter than this. ;)
June 20th, 2011 @ 1:57 pm
Oh. My.
June 20th, 2011 @ 2:42 pm
Pat D. Thanks for the memories.
I used to sing this in choir. Really lovely piece.
June 20th, 2011 @ 6:49 pm

June 20th, 2011 @ 8:33 pm
Squeeeeeeeeee!!!!
June 20th, 2011 @ 8:40 pm
marlene, they do connect with people, they do know their names and they are very curious and social..(under the right circumstances )… when I was young,. we reared a pet lamb, named “Lambie”, when she was strong and able, she was let off to roam with the flock.
Whenever we called out her name “Lambie” she would break away from the flock and come bounding down the hill to meet us…
June 20th, 2011 @ 8:44 pm
I didn’t realize this was a real animal for a moment. It’s so cute, it looks like a doll!
June 21st, 2011 @ 1:21 am
thank you Carmel! I could tell by the look in her face that she could be a good companion pet..like a dog…I would love shreve to write a book on the animals in her farmily.. thier personalities and behaviors from her perspective.. so many people have no clue since they live so far from this experience, of being close to animals ..I think people would love to read this!!! Waht do you think Shreve???? marlene in Cambria

June 21st, 2011 @ 2:12 pm
Thanks to those who liked the poem by Blake. The baby lamb in the picture looks like one he might have puzzled with his long-ago questions.
I’ll confess to only remembering the first couple of lines, but then I looked it up and got the whole first stanza to copy and paste! (Ain’t Google fun?)
