Love the crisp contrast of this delightful shot – look at how they watch you! Cracks me up, actually.

Can you name them all for us please? :-)

They look like they were headed somewhere and when you pulled out your camera they stopped dead in their tracks. I’ve noticed when I take photos of animals that they have strange reactions and wonder if they are reacting to the big glass “eye” or think it’s a gun pointed at them.

Just beautiful!

beautiful!

Ranch horses will watch people intently because they associate people with food (or perhaps work– for the horse!)
Great grouping of equines, very nice photo.

I’ll guess… QH, QH, QH, QH, Arab or Arab Mix?

Gorgeous animals. Your skill captures their body language so wonderfully.
Like Marg says, it looks like you came across them on their way to somewhere and they gladly paused to chat for awhile. They have their horse business that they need to attend to, but they’re not too busy to engage with a friend.

Lovely animals, though I detect a certain “do you have a treat for me?” look in their eyes. :-)

Awesome. And each one has a different personality too.

That is one happy herd. They have no idea how lucky they are.

“Oh, Oh. She has her camera out!” What a beautiful herd. Horses are so cool. I’m learning so much about them at the rescue ranch I volunteer for.

Love this photo. And the expression on the white horse’s face!!!!

Could we have names, ages and brief description left to right….I think I can pick out your horse but not sure about the others.

C ~ I’m afraid I don’t know any of that info! My horse isn’t in the pic, these are another rancher’s horses that I ran into the other day on an errand.
