Awesome pics. My cats would be crying

Yep. Football with legs. Probably has a very deep purr for the size.
Want to scritch.

Awww! What a beautiful and evocative juxtaposition.

She likes heat and snow. Definitely a lady that has beauty and strength. Wasn’t she the one that had a nasty argument with a hawk?
Lady cats are truly amazing.
I had a lady cat who was not afraid of snow, the deeper the better. I swear she was part polar bear.

Purrrrty!

In my family, a person or animal is described as a “mush” if s/he is particularly fond of affection/cuddles/kisses/anything snuggly. I have one cat in particular who is referred to by all as a mush. I hope Mushy is a mush, because if she were mine I would want to hug her all the time :).

AWWWWW KITTY!!!

Sorry to be greedy, but you owe us two more pics. Seasons come in sets of 4 and there are only 2 pics. But I am willing to negociate. Throw in a Ricardo, perhaps a Fiona and your debt will be marked paid. ; )

Oh my goodness. The cuteness…..

I know Charlie is the star, and I don’t think you’ve ever posted a picture here that didn’t leave me in awe of your talents and daily environment, but with that second photo, you’ve gone and posted what is probably my favorite picture in all of the internets. Thanks!
November 26th, 2012 @ 3:22 pm
I love how his nose looks like a little pink heart in the winter one
November 26th, 2012 @ 3:42 pm
Love, love, love these photos! Mushy is very photogenic! More, please!
November 26th, 2012 @ 4:46 pm
Like to Eriko’s comment – my kitty is also a football with legs. Pretty kitty.
November 26th, 2012 @ 5:14 pm
So gorgeous, especially the snow scene.
November 26th, 2012 @ 6:25 pm
Mushy’s face is identical to my cat Sadie. That same stare, like she’s trying to ready my mind. And Sadie is Mushy’s size too.
November 26th, 2012 @ 6:45 pm
yes! her little red-heart nose!
November 26th, 2012 @ 8:07 pm
Aw
November 26th, 2012 @ 8:35 pm
Beautiful. And not sure why, but it seems fitting that these were posted on my sister’s birthday… she used to throw the same look at the camera that Mush is throwing in the summer shot: “You know you want to pet this.” :)
November 26th, 2012 @ 9:11 pm
Love cats and you have some purrrty ones.
November 27th, 2012 @ 6:16 am
Musheeeeeee!
November 27th, 2012 @ 6:50 am
Awesome shots! I agree with the posts about the heart shaped nose, great!
November 27th, 2012 @ 2:45 pm
Such sweetness!!
November 27th, 2012 @ 6:39 pm

November 27th, 2012 @ 7:38 pm
Beautiful photos!
November 28th, 2012 @ 10:23 am
I actually never thought about a cat sitting in the snow. (So Cal). These photos are terrific. I’m a sucker for the felines.

Oh my, oh my, oh my… such gorgeous shots! Eli is one macho, healthy guy, and the red Wyo dirt the perfect backdrop. It somehow fits him to be lying across big ol’ tire tracks. As for the exquisite shot of Mushy… wow, takes my breath away. SUCH a beautiful picture! Reminds me of that glorious photo of Charlie running and grinning through the snow.

BAA HAAA! cats on the internet, and yours are the best. lol
December 4th, 2012 @ 1:46 am
Not especially a cat person (have been won over by certain cats, RIP Boomer, Flare and Davenport) and I wholeheartedly love these pics of Eli! They make me feel that he’d be one of those “certain” cats.
Thanks for the cool pics; still nomming the beef.

Beautiful! Shreve…I haven’t been on your site in a long, long time because the last six months of my life have been totally insane, but I want to thank you for continuing to take your beautiful photographs and to share your unique view of the world. Sometimes I feel like the happiness in our lives is comprised of small and large pieces that fit together but not all at once. Your photos and your thoughts are a small piece of happiness that fits together in the much bigger picture that is the Liz-life. Thank you for always being a part of a big part of my life in a small way. :)

I Love cats. Well I love all animals. Mushy is so cute. I wonder what my cats and dogs would think about snow as they have never seen it.
August 12th, 2013 @ 11:18 pm
The winter picture is incredibly striking. No apparent pathway. She looks like she was sitting and resting while the snow fell. I like that outdoor maturity of being able to just “be” in the snow.
