I’m totally buying their CD to play for Daisy as I’m milking.

Moosic to their ears.
I’m not even ashamed that I just went there with this.

Oh my god I love it so much!! You find some amazing treasures on the internet. This is amazing :D

Thanks for the MUCH needed laughs! They’re some beauties, aren’t they? (the cows)

That was AWESOME!
Loved the Cow Chorus Line first rendition. …And no heckling from such a polite audience. How cute was THAT?
Haha, Steven – “I’m not even ashamed that I just went there with this.” So true, so true!

I love the expressions on their bovine faces… they better not start a mosh pit!

Just goes to show how curious cows can be, and as for heifers . . .

Cows are such great audiences. When I was learning how to drive on a country road they lined up like those above to watch me stall the standard shift over and over.
If you play classical music to Daisy her milk will be even sweeter. It’s been proven that plants and animals respond best to the ‘vibes’ that classic music sends out. Hard to beat Jazz though for pleasure.

When the cows
Oh when the cows
When the cows go munching in
O Lord I want to be in that meadow
When the cows go munching in!

My dairy farmer boyfriend and his dad (plus all the other dairy farmers in the area, western NY) played classical or jazz or whatever music worked best when milking their cows. Great results!

Love it! Great music, lovely cows and a good chuckle…what’s not to like?!

Classical is good for cows for the same reason it’s good for studying. Mostly Mozart.
For people it’s 60 beats a min. which is about the rate of the human heart. And you don’t want sudden or loud dynamic changes. I imagine the same thing works for cows if you can find the meditation rate for them.
The buildings in the background almost look like Switzerland, Germany or Austria.
Love the bells. Love the cow parades when the wear the big bells and wreaths of flowers around their heads and necklaces of them. I always wish a crown flowers for Daisy.

I think Daisy will love this Jazz for cows—the cows in the video certainly could be seen to enjoy it! She will put out great milk to this music, I am sure!

Moostock 2014.
The beige cow wants in.

Who would have thunk it! Cows line up to hear jazz! LOL
June 25th, 2014 @ 2:32 pm
Oh, how adorable. Such a well-behaved audience; their attention was wavering a bit at the end, but you could almost hear their polite applause.
June 25th, 2014 @ 3:33 pm
That was so enjoyable!

Music to their ears…thanks for sharing!:)
June 25th, 2014 @ 9:30 pm
And they don’t even need a cowbell — they already got ’em!
Shreve, I have two cow-related music videos I’d love to share with you: is it better to post them to a comment feed, e-mail them to you, just send you a link? Or other? Actually, only one of them is exclusively cow-centric; the other is about veterinary medicine in general (yes; someone does write and perform music about such stuff) but does have an awesome bovine verse in it.

Today I saw a coyote squaring off with a big black bull in an open green pasture. They were nose-to-nose, maybe 6 – 8 feet apart. If I’d been driving my own car, I’d have stopped immediately to see who won. Wish I knew… it was a stunning sight, it really was.

That tuba player was FABULOUS! Wow, so cool. What a great idea, and the cows were so very amused.
