Pretty gal. But I reckon she didn’t inherit her mom’s blue eyes? They look green/grayish to me.

If it gets out of control, she may have to go to boxhab. teehee

It does look like boxhab may be in her future but I love the laid back paw dangle in the 3rd pic! What a pretty girl..

I have a cat that looks similar and she has the most beautiful green eyes. My cat is a “Tortoise Shell”. Yours looks like she is the same. So pretty!

Charlie to the left of me, Cloe to the right both guarding, a human for hugs, Eli for companionship, and Daisy for all the milk I can drink! Cat Nirvana!!!

Beautiful cat, and even wears her initial on her forehead! (Did you know that “M” is a mark of the American Short-Hair Domestic cat? Her parents probably have theirs, too…)

What a doll. I had a tortie girl, Henrietta, that looks alot like Mush (only without the classic tabby bullseye you can sort of see on Mushie’s side). Her eyes were just as pretty. She was my first cat living on my own, so she holds a special place in my heart. Congrats on your new buddy!

Mush is beautiful and definitely one “cool” cat. My Sadie is marked similar but in browns. She tries to be cool but is a bit uncoordinated.

Why does that last shot make me think of Schrodinger?

She’s the Cat’s Meow or, if you prefer, the Cat’s Pajamas.

She’s got the most beautiful eyes! I see girls obsess over eyeliner techniques just to get the look Mush has. :)

Oh my! I was so curious! Thought you were going to give us the recipe for some sort of breakfast concoction. She is so sweet!

What is it about cardboard boxes? Even my dogs prefer them over a kennel or dog house.

a beautiful girl! they find the coziest places – though I love pine cones, I’m not so sure about getting cozy with them :)

Cats and boxes go together like ‘bugs in a rug’- my tortie Roxy is currently snoozing in the old typing paper box I keep on the desk behind me for her to sleep in. It keeps her from sprawling all over books, papers, etc, and knocking them off. And no cat can ever resist a box, so this was the perfect solution!

I love the angle to her eyes. Totally reminds me of my sweet tortoiseshell kitty that I had for 17 years. Such dynamic eyes :)

I call my big white boy ‘mush’ too. :) And his sister adores all the boxes.

Renee (#19) – Ha! Me too!

Mush IS gloriously, wonderfully edible, so I guess a “breakfast concoction” is not that far off. I LOVE these pics, Shreve! Wish I could find a box my size, but alas and alack, I could never strike that incongruous languid-elegant-cute pose.

I remain forever frustrated that I can’t poke through this stinkin’ computer screen and softly stroke her little head, pet charlie’s beautiful back, farmily-etc.

Hmmm… just noticed she’d be perfect for the “Got Milk?” ads…

Mush looks just like my Cutie-Pie. We sometimes call her Stubby now (or Cutie-Pie Stubby Tail) since she lost about half of her tail a few years back. Just an absolute sweetheart as Mush also looks.

And, YES, Cats can definitely be a part of your family if you let them be. Each one has it’s own special personality and they can be so loving if you just let them. Our cats all get along just fine with all the dogs. Even dogs that aren’t ours.

Wait, this is one the kittens? She is getting so big! She’s now a lady, no more little girl!
