We are supposed to get another 8 inches today and we are running out of places to put it!!!! Spring can’t come soon enough for us…so we can make maple syrup!!! :) have a wonderful week!!!

Meanwhile on the other side of the globe, the days are just starting to shorten and there is a little nip in the air. Autumn is looming on the horizon.

Maybe you could send some of that wetness down to Southern California? We’re parched. Sure looks pretty where you are though.

I invite you all to box up your snow and bag up your water and send it to me in California.

No amount too small. I’ll take it all.

love it. For site clean-ups I often have to take before and after pictures with a change of light or season thrown in. The seasonal differences in a northern temperate climate are mind-blowing. I’m guessing side-by-side shots of summer and winter coats of the same animal in the same pose would look quite endearing.

Thanks for finding so much beauty in winter.

Another dry Californian longing for your excess… sigh. Great images, as always. Love the contrast.
